The Validation/Characterization Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments are powered by a passion for continual improvement. Our solutions make a real difference and yours will, too. In this role, you’ll serve in development and implementation of cost-effective analog test techniques, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitate cross-functional teams for problem solving. You will collaborate with Analog Design on design-for-test features and Applications team on validation.
Responsibilities include:
Testing of integrated circuits or electronic systems in the laboratory environment.
Support prototype debugging and troubleshooting to identify device issues.
Analyze measurement results and correlate the measurement between ATE (Automated Test Equipment ) and bench.
Additional responsibilities include:
Develop efficient and sometimes complex automated tests and hardware to validate functionality and measure electrical characteristics of DC/DC converters.
Minimum requirements:
Currently pursuing MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Systems, or related degree with coursework or experience in Power electronics or Analog circuit analysis
Proficiency with bench level test equipment (i.e. DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters)
Good written and verbal proficiency in English
Preferred qualifications:
Classroom and/or real world experience with Lab View, Python, Test Stand or MATLAB strongly preferred
Experience with Embedded Systems is a plus
Demonstrated information collection, review and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
