WE Certification Inc. has is an accredited laboratory capable of creating official testing evidence for various type approval & industry certificates required for cellular product market access. We are now recruiting for experienced Test Engineers, GCF/PTCRB certification to join our growing team. Appointees will be part of the Operator Certification Laboratory in Redmond, WA. The team is responsible for cellular product certification testing R&TTE, GCF and PTCRB under ISO17025 accreditation.
As an Operator Certification Laboratory team member you will be responsible for carrying out various certification testing related daily activities (e.g. test plan execution, test sample and test system debugging, error reporting, vendor collaboration, customer service from your own part, proto handling and test system maintenance activities). You will also help in ensuring that all system testing conformance requirements for R&TTE, GCF and PTCRB are fulfilled and customers are satisfied in terms of validity, quality and timeliness of your work.
Duties and responsibilities include:

Overall test execution with relevant tools, test systems and stakeholders
Efficient communicating with the interfaces of colleagues, laboratory management and customers
Responsibility for the operation and maintenance of your own assigned test platforms
Handling of prototypes
Constant development of the daily work and tools together with the team
Taking part in GCF & PTCRB test status reporting and problem solving activities

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor degree and several years of experience in product certification and testing areas
Knowledge of certification schemes (e.g. GCF / PTCRB & ETSI R&TTE)
Cellular modem basic understanding (GSM, WCDMA and LTE system level understanding)
Experience in core and test specification and documentation reviews
Mastering Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and Share Point tools
Knowledge of basic level laboratory technical tasks for cellular devices (flashing, configuring labelling, etc.)
Systematic and structured working method
Team work oriented person demonstrating good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
Good communications skills, fluent in written and spoken English
Willingness to take on new challenges and grow with the team
Action oriented mindset
Capability to work in dynamic environment and tolerate interruptions and ambiguities

Desired skills:
Experience in 2G, 3G and/or LTE conducted conformance testing area
Knowledge of 17025 and laboratory accreditation
Knowledge of GCF and PTCRB processes, 3GPP Specifications and certification procedures
Experience of working methods under 17025 accreditation
