A Day in the Life
Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) engages in long-term and value-creating public/private partnerships with hospitals worldwide, including Finland. Our work is anchored in close collaboration with clinical staff, key stakeholders, and leaders at all levels. Our task is to create value by understanding and analyzing the organization’s strengths, challenges, and potentials, and deliver improvements in close collaboration with the department enhancing productivity and quality for the benefit of patients.
You will be part of the Nordic IHS organization. We are collaborating with our international team of 50 dedicated and experienced consultants with deep knowledge of the value chain in the healthcare system.
In the Nordics region, we are a small, agile team of consultants who work closely to develop innovative projects and solutions for the largest hospitals in the Nordic countries.
We are looking for a committed Student Worker who can support with data analysis and data gathering within a strong partnership in Tampere.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Gathering data from hospital patients via phone calls
- Supporting the creation of data-driven analytics to improve the clinical, operational, and financial outcomes
- Supporting translating complex data into easily understandable presentations for the use by clinical staff and leaders
Required knowledge and experience:
- Currently studying a higher education degree (bachelor's degree or the first year of master’s degree)
- Based in Tampere
- Fluent in Finnish, both spoken and written
- At least upper-intermediate (B2) level of English language
- Strong quantitative skills combined with a curious and empathetic approach
- Strong interest in mathematical and general data analysis
Internship details:
- Start date: October/November
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Tampere
- Working hours: 15-20 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
- Working model: hybrid (You will mainly be working on projects in hospitals within driving distance of Tampere/Helsinki)
