We are looking for a Senior Measurement Engineer with a main responsibility in instrumentations and measurements in RDE engine testing. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Measurement Engineer, your work will include instrumentation of engine test components and measurements on laboratory engines. Typical measurements include temperature, pressure, strain/stress, displacement etc. with a sampling frequency ranging from 1Hz to 15MHz. You will also participate in projects as a measurement expert. It is also important to develop and improve measurement equipment and methods to achieve even lower measurement uncertainties. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You'll be working as a part dynamic instrumentation and measurement team with diverse expertise.
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:
BSc/MSc in electronic/electrical/automation engineering or similar experience or competence
Practical experience in soldering, mechanical assembly
Previous experience in measurement and telemetry systems is considered an advantage
Programming skills (depending on your role)
Fluency in verbal and written English. Other language skills (Finnish or Swedish) are considered as an advantage
