We are looking for a SENIOR MARINE DESIGN ENGINEER to join our team in Turku, for a permanent position.
The job includes design tasks/project management in marine engineering domain according to the applicants abilities (suchs as frame, mechanical, deck fitting, HVAC or electrical). This position also includes multi-disciplinary work environment, and monitoring compliance with regulations. Therefore, an understanding of and interest in shipbuilding and ship design regulations is essential. The candidate should have a suitable education in a field such as mechanical or marine engineering (engineer or graduate engineer) and at least five years of experience in a similar role.

As an expert you will work closely with customers and the authorities as well as directly with the customer, which is why we expect the applicants to have:

customer service attitude
active approach and problem-solving capability
the ability to see the big picture
ability to work in a team as well as independently
good communication skills
fluent English and basic Finnish language skills
