As a Senior Cloud Operations Specialist, you will be a key member of the product development team dedicated to this software. Your role will involve managing and enhancing our cloud infrastructure to support and scale this critical business area. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining, upgrading, and monitoring our cloud and SQL servers to ensure optimal performance and security. You will manage cloud services, troubleshoot issues, and oversee the scalability of our server environments. This role involves constructing VPN tunnels with service providers, modifying firewall settings, and automating routine system tasks to increase efficiency. You will also participate in projects with the Naviloq cloud infra team to enhance platform scalability and service availability globally. These projects are essential for developing server architecture in collaboration with the product development team for new service initiatives. Expectations for your first year include automating server environment monitoring, centralizing service analytics, and building a globally scalable platform together with the team. You will also contribute to ensuring our security processes are ISO 270001-certified. Keys to success in this role:
5+ years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure management, with a strong background in server environment development projects and automation.
Experience in maintenance of virtual servers in Linux server environments.
Experience in scripting (eg. Bash, Power Shell).
You thrive in managing complex cloud environments and are passionate about enhancing system scalability and reliability.
Excellent communication skills in English; Finnish is a plus.
Experience working with API interfaces and expertise in network design and planning are considered advantages.
