Sandvik has solid Indirect Procurement country organizations, team Finland being one of them. Now we are looking for a temporary Procurement Coordinator into our team. Would it be you?
Indirect Procurement team Finland is an active part of a decentralized organization in which we play an integral role as a category driven, efficient and a resilient procurement organization. Indirect Procurement is actively developing tools and processes to further increase compliance in procurement area. In this area the key role is a proactive and analytical Procurement Coordinator for whom we are looking for a substitute due to parental leave. The role is full-time, temporary (7.1.-30.9.2025) and located in Turku.
About your role
As a Procurement Coordinator, you will perform operative tasks within Basware P2P solution purchase module:

Maintain billing parameters in the system (spend plan process) including the following tasks:
-
proactively coordinate the process in order to increase the volume
-
clearing matters together with accounts payable team, indirect procurement, and suppliers

creating and updating of spend plans and
-
follow up the approval status
-
Follow up and support the Purchase Order flow

Mobile Phone ordering process and supplier cooperation related tasks

Reporting
In addition, you will manage multiple procurement related tools e.g. Ecovadis. Also, supplier screenings and internal customer service tasks are part of your duties.
About your background and what we find valid for this role
You have a suitable educational background in a relevant field (e.g., Sourcing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Business or Engineering). Genuine interest and good understanding of systems and tools related to purchasing and sourcing is required. Your communication skills in Finnish and English are excellent. Other experience within Purchasing, Supply, Finance, or another relevant field is regarded as a merit.
Your way of working is systematic and proactive. You like to work with software solutions and find them easy to understand and use. You are team player with enthusiasm and analytical mindset for reaching the business’ goals. You have good stakeholder management capabilities, and you create and maintain good relations with both internal and external stakeholders.
