Position Summary
We are looking to recruit a full time practice assistant to our team in Helsinki. Our practice assistants’ responsibilities include a wide range of administrative and secretarial duties. Key day-to-day tasks include assisting lawyers with editing and formatting legal documentation, research, translation, contacting various governmental authorities, as well as preparing and maintaining transaction data rooms. Tasks also include answering the office switchboard and welcoming visitors.
Essential Qualifications
- Relevant educational background and previous work experience
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Programs
- Problem-solving attitude, organizational skills, proactive and self-initiative work approach
- Proactive, resourceful, takes initiative and has the ability to see the big picture
- Outstanding communication
- Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
- Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when juggling multiple tasks
- Genuine interest in international business and corporate transactions
