Flow IT is KONE IT’s Operating Model. Flow IT defines how we collaborate with business to understand and prioritize needs and sets clear interfaces & collaboration practices between IT and Areas/FLs. It increases efficiency & speed in our development & operations enabled by optimization of “flow”.

We are looking for an Operating Model Manager to join the IT Operational Excellence team. In this key role, you will lead the Flow IT development within KONE IT, ensuring alignment with the company's evolving strategy and enhanced operational efficiency.

As the Operating Model Manager, you will be at the forefront of change, collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive the evolution of KONE IT's operating model. You will lead the design, development, and optimization of Flow IT processes, fostering agility and efficiency across both development and operations. This role also involves continuous monitoring, reporting on adoption progress, and ensuring alignment with KONE IT’s dynamic ways of working.

This position is critical in shaping the future of KONE IT, making it a dynamic and impactful opportunity for individuals passionate about driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This role is based in Espoo and reports to the Head of the CIO Office.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of Flow IT in collaboration with Process Owners, department leadership teams, and stakeholders, alongside the Flow IT team.
Actively co-create and collaborate with KONE IT and other KONE stakeholders, gaining insights into their use cases, challenges, and ideas to enhance the operating model.
Leverage industry best practices and IT trends to drive the forward-looking development of Flow IT.
Continuously improve Flow IT elements based on performance indicators and ongoing learning.
Contribute to the creation and execution of the Flow IT vision and long-term roadmap.
Ensure Flow IT compliance with KONE Way and other relevant operating models within KONE.
Participate in Flow IT development forums to drive innovation and collaboration.
Support change management efforts within KONE IT, enabling smooth transitions.
Coach and train departments and agile teams on adopting Flow IT and enhancing their performance.

Ideal candidate would have:

University or Bachelor degree (M.Sc., B.Sc.) in relevant IT field
Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on software development, IT process design, and operating model deployment.
Proven track record of leading changes in organizations
Experience in leading IT operating model vision and future roadmap creation.
Strong knowledge of IT operating models, including Dev Ops, BTS, ITIL, and Sa FE.
Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum Master certification preferred) and Dev Ops practices.
Familiarity with an international working environment and virtual team experience is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and fact-based decision-making skills. Effective communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Facilitation skills and data analytics proficiency.
Effective communication in English and exceptional interpersonal skills
