About the role

Nordhealth is a forward-thinking tech company that builds innovative mobile applications with robust backends. In Provet Cloud, we specialize in using Python Django for backend services and React Native for cross-platform mobile app development.

We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer to join our team, someone passionate about building high-quality applications that provide seamless user experiences, following the same design principles and development standards as our product design system, contributing to a consistent and high-quality user experience across all platforms.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
  
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create scalable and efficient mobile apps.
  
• Work on cross-platform mobile app development to ensure seamless experiences across both i OS and Android.
  
• Optimize app performance and ensure consistent quality across platforms.
  
• Contribute to backend integration using Python/Django via Rest API (preferred but not required).
  
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.
  
• Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and review meetings.
  
• Collaborate closely with product designers to audit and define a comprehensive style and mobile component library, ensuring reusability and alignment with our product design system.
  

What will help you to be successful in this role?

Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global Saa S company. In addition, our humble wishlist would be that you have:

• About 5+ years of experience in mobile app development.
  
• Strong expertise in React Native and cross-platform mobile development. Familiarity with mobile app architecture, lifecycle, and performance optimization.
  
• Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and RESTful services.
  
• Solid understanding of the entire mobile development lifecycle.
  
• Knowledge of Python/Django or willingness to learn and collaborate on backend integration.
  
• An understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and a keen eye for detail across both i OS and Android platforms, with an ability to recognize and adapt to the differences between them.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  

Bonus points, nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  
• Knowledge of mobile Dev Ops, including CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
  
• Experience with testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.
