Java Script Developer - Video Streaming Solutions
Viaccess-Orca is a leader in video streaming solutions, and we're delivering seamless video experiences across web and Smart TV platforms like Samsung Tizen and LG web OS. We're seeking a skilled Java Script developer with expertise in video streaming to join our team in Tampere and contribute to our advanced video streaming engine based on Dash technology.

We're seeking a skilled Java Script developer with expertise in video streaming to join our team in Tampere and contribute to our advanced video streaming engine based on Dash technology.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our team to design, develop, test, and integrate new features into our video streaming engine.

Ensure design choices align with the evolving architecture and maintain high-quality standards.

Propose innovative solutions to address customer and user needs.
-
Work closely with customers to understand and fulfill their requirements.

Improve our video streaming engine built on dash.js

Develop tools to validate TV models and ensure compatibility with our video streaming engine.

3+ years of experience in web frontend development, particularly in video integration using DASH.JS and streaming technologies like Media Source Element and Encrypted Media Element.

Solid understanding of product management and software engineering best practices, including version control, automated testing, continuous delivery, and code review.

Knowledge of software architecture principles and the ability to align development efforts with the overall architecture.

Experience or familiarity with Smart TV projects (e.g., Samsung Tizen, LG Web OS) is a plus.

Team Player: At VO, teamwork is the key. You'll work closely with teams in Tampere and France.
