Your role and responsibilities
The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid We are now looking for a new Product Manager to join our Global Product Management team in ABB Distribution Solutions in Vaasa or Tampere. As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the Monitoring and Diagnostics offering in our portfolio. The role will require some travel based on need, approximately 25-40 days annually in different countries. You will be mainly accountable for: •Leading the Monitoring and Diagnostics offering as a Product Manager • Collaborating between the different parts of the organization and external stakeholders • Defining and driving the product development needs of our customers into the portfolio • Conducting comprehensive market analysis and research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities to be able to plan the future development steps.Qualifications for the role
- A BSc or MSc level degree from Electrical Engineering or similar
- Previous demonstrated work experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a global role
- Strong understanding of monitoring and diagnostic technologies
- Knowledge of Medium Voltage switchgear, protection and control
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English and Finnish or Swedish, both written and spoken, additional languages seen as an advantage
- Knowledge of arc flash protection is seen as a strong benefit
