Honeywell Process Solutions is looking for a talented and driven Advanced Project Engineer to lead our dynamic project teams in the Pulp & Paper industry. If you're an experienced engineer with a passion for delivering innovative solutions and achieving project excellence, we want to hear from you!
About the Role
Purpose: As an Advanced Project Engineer, you will lead small to medium-sized project teams (2-5 engineers) to implement standard engineering solutions, ensuring successful completion within budget and time constraints.
You will be technically responsible for the overall design and scope of the systems, ensuring alignment with Honeywell standards.
Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical interface with customers, ensuring project requirements are defined, agreed upon, and delivered on time and within budget.
• Interface with 3rd party suppliers to ensure correct functionality and integration of deliverables.
• Ensure all prerequisites (design inputs, tools, documentation, schedule, budget) are in place before commencing work.
• Produce and/or approve functional and detailed design specifications, providing technical leadership and support to the project team.
• Monitor and control technical project scope, ensuring effective change control and identifying risks/opportunities.
• Recommend potential quality and efficiency improvements, sharing technical knowledge with the team and community. Act as the technical lead during installation and commissioning on-site.

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Experience as a Project Engineer. Knowledge/ Exp in Control System (DCS OR PLC OR QCS OR Automation)
• Proven experience in customer interfacing. Must be able to effectively communicate in English and Finnish

We Value:

• Effective communicator with strong project leadership skills. Ability to manage technical scope, time, and budget.
• Project experience in the Pulp & Paper industry.
• This role will include travel to local customer sites (15%).
