We’re looking for an Account Manager in Life Sciences to ensure seamless collaboration between our customers and our bioinformatics professionals. As part of our Production team, you will work closely with our Chief Research Officer and our customers. The job description can be further tailored to your profile and this may also be reflected in the job title; alternative titles include, e.g. Project Manager, Customer Success Specialist and Client Relations Specialist.
What will your main responsibilities be:
Effectively managing diverse customer accounts consisting of Principal Investigators and researchers at public and private organizations
Working with our sales and production teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Extending service contracts with existing accounts: this includes gathering practical information on the accounts’ schedules and budgets and providing information regarding our availability, negotiating contracts, writing offers and taking care of contractual paperwork
Gathering and documenting customer feedback to improve our customer experience
What we expect from you:
Previous experience in account management
Passion for customer service: you’re dedicated to provide the best possible experience for every customer with having both short-term and long-term goals in mind
Problem-solving and negotiation abilities: you’re a quick thinker who can find innovative solutions to customer issues in a speedy and realistic manner
Empathy and patience: you have a genuine desire to help others and you can remain calm and composed, even in challenging and changing situations
Tech-savviness: you’re comfortable using various communication channels and cloud-based systems such as Google Workspace
Residency in Finland
Excellent communication skills in English in a highly technical and scientific context
Not required but seen as an advantage:
Ph D in life sciences
Experience from the life science or tech industry
Sales experience
Project management experience
