Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced and highly skilled Tax Manager with a CPA license in the United States. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working in a CPA firm and be proficient in filing personal and business taxes. An Enrolled Agent (EA) with US CPA credentials would also be considered.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits and tax notices.
  • Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
  • Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide well-documented conclusions.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of tax provisions and disclosures in financial statements.
  • Stay informed about new tax laws and regulations and advise management on potential impacts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or EA license in the United States.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CPA firm, focusing on tax preparation and planning.
  • Extensive experience in filing personal and business taxes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An Enrolled Agent (EA) in LATAM with US CPA credentials is also acceptable.
