About the role
As a Truck Manager, you will be responsible for the management and optimization of our daily operations of truck fleet, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
Besides your overall responsibility of overseeing the daily operations of our truck fleet you will be responsible fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence taking ownership of the fleet’s performance, setting clear goals and expectations, and driving continuous improvement and cultivating a positive work environment where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute to the company’s success.
You will be part of the management team in DFDS Logistics Hobro and are responsible of a team consisting of a Team Lead, 150 drivers, two Staff coordinators and two Payroll assistants.
Furthermore, it is your responsibility to ensure compliance with the 3F ATL agreement and other relevant labor regulations making sure our drivers have the best conditions and opportunities and implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulations.
About you

We imagine you have a background in logistics, transportation, or a related field, have experience with fleet management and have navigating complex logistical challenges, making strategic decisions that enhance operational efficiency.
You have demonstrated seasoned leadership by mentoring and developing team members, ensuring they reach their full potential by inspiring and motivating through effective communication, leading by example, and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Additionally, you have experience working with the 3F ATL agreement, ensuring compliance and understanding of labour regulations.
Good communication track record as well as language skills in Danish and English is a prerequisite. We expect you to be IT savvy and used to learning new systems.
