About the job: You will join a team covering a wide range of technical competencies like:
Developing detailed mechanical designs and specifications
Creating 3D models and 2D drawings using Inventor software
Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards
Establishing and mature BOM in our ERP system NAV
Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure project success
Working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible
Attend team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain and acquire information about projects emerging product lines
Further you will be responsible for the writing technical specifications for the mechanical design and the creation and maintenance of the technical documentation. Your role will involve close collaboration with purchasing to ensure the delivery of new mechanical parts. Professional experience:
You are a Technical Designer or a Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical certification in mechanical engineering.
Maybe you have 2+ years of experience in 3D design and documentation.
Experience in 3D modeling and drawings, industrial machinery components, and fluid-power plumbing design will be an advantage.
Having experience in the use of Inventor, ERP systems, and the ECM process for change management and revision control is needed.
