The role and key responsibilities As our Retail Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product assortment for our stores. Working closely with our sales- and operational team and other key stakeholders, you will be responsible for purchasing and assembling the collections that define our brand. Your role emphasizes autonomy, giving you the freedom to coordinate buying and sales initiatives. You will be selecting standout styles, and continuously optimize our product lineup based on sales performance. You will collaborate with many stakeholders in the company to ensure our ambitious growth strategy is realized. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our stores, from negotiating prices and managing product mixes to analyzing sales data and developing sales-promoting initiatives. Furthermore, your responsibility will include:
Selecting and assembling RAINS collections for stores.
Ensuring the right product and price mix based on season and trends.
Monitoring and analyzing sales figures, top lists, and inventory status daily.
Building strong, trust-based relationships with stores and partners.
Preparing analysis and reports for sales optimization.
Coordinating opening packages
Conducting inspiration and store visits to stay ahead of trends.
Our new team member We are looking for a dedicated employee for a newly created position, where you will have the opportunity to help shape and influence our future efforts as well as your own processes and workflows. You will be a vital part of our retail team, and this role requires someone with a strong background in fashion buying, a keen eye for trends, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We imagine that you have the following skills:
At least 4-5 years of experience in the fashion and retail industry.
Proven experience in selecting and assembling product packages.
Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-speed environments.
Strong background in purchasing or logistics, including inventory management.
Solid business acumen and a talent for working with numbers.
In-depth knowledge of the retail industry.
Proficiency in English at a negotiation level, both written and orally.
You will report to the Head of Retail. The position is full-time.
