Applications are invited for a 1-year Postdoc position in the field of Intelligent Control for Aerial Robots at the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aarhus University, Denmark.
Expected start date and duration of employment
This is a 1-year position from 01/01/2025 or as soon as possible. The starting date can be before or after 01/01/2025 depending on the circumstances.
Job description
Research in this project involves a synergistic combination of intelligent control and aerial robotics for the navigation in uncertain environment.
You will be mainly responsible for:
- development of machine-learning algorithms for unmanned aerial vehicles;
- dissemination of the results in international conferences and journals;
- proposal writing for external founds.
Your profile
The successful candidate should hold a Ph D degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or similar.
Required skills:
- Good programming skills in C++ or Python
- Working knowledge of ROS
- Publication experience
- Excellent communication and language skills
- Teaching experience
Preferred skills:
- Experience with UAV control
- Concrete experience in machine learning
- Practical and hands-on skills
