AIG is currently looking for a Cyber Underwriter to join our Nordic Financial Lines team. The position will be based at our office in Copenhagen and report into our Nordic Head of Financial Lines.

Underwriting - Nordic Financial Lines

AIG’s underwriters develop insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals, and embody AIG’s tradition of innovation, bringing to market groundbreaking insurance solutions for our changing world. The Nordic Financial Lines Team primarily focus on underwriting and development within financial lines insurance products as; Director’s and Officer’s Liability, Crime, Employment Liability, Professional Indemnity, K&R and Cyber.

About the role

What you need to know:
As a financial lines underwriter, you will play both an analytical and a communicative role when handling of renewals and new business submissions
You will develop relationships with both existing and new clients and their insurance brokers
Participate in wording development and marketing initiatives
Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in order to service our clients in the best possible way.
Participate in internal and external education / training sessions to ensure your professional development.

We imagine that you:
Have more than 2 years working within FL Underwriting.
Are structured, service oriented and pays attention to detail
Has strong verbal and written Danish and English skills
Has great communicative skills and excel at negotiating and presenting
Has a master’s degree in economics or law or a combination of the two
Has a clear understanding of financial statements
