As our Logistics manager you will be overall responsible for all logistics operations including managing the structures and resources that deliver inbound and outbound transportation performance . Your focus will be to ensure smooth and efficient movement of goods throughout the supply chain, meeting customer expectations (internal and external), and driving operational excellence in logistics operations. You will have a close cooperation with freight forwarders and carriers, our Warehouse, Procurement Team, Customer Service Team and support daily operations where it is needed. You will be the leader of our Logistics Coordinator and you will report directly to our COO, Fredrik. Your main responsibilities will be to:
Monitor and improve transportation performance (inbound and outbound), making sure we have the best logistics setup both short and long term.
Drive cooperation across departments and disciplines that contribute to a better performing supply chain
Develop and coach our Logistics coordinator
Ensure transparency with regards to Logistics (performance, cost and daily operations) across Hobbii
Drive projects in the realm of transportation related to Hobbii’s strategic priorities as well as to drive internal “mini projects” to improve Supply Chain performance
Other tasks:
Provide input in the budget process, and follow-up on Logistics budget monthly
Yearly (or as often as needed) negotiate with inbound and outbound carriers, packaging material suppliers and other needed services.
Set-up, maintain and optimise Hobbii’s transportation network by adding/replacing carriers and forwarders
Furthermore you will document processes and SOPs in Logistics Operations as well as develop and monitor relevant KPIs and ensure that all documentation regarding transportation is up to date, valid and accessible for stakeholders.
To be successful in the role we expect:
You have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar job
Insight and experience from managing international freights, logistics and supply chains
You have successfully negotiated contracts with forwarders and carriers
You to have excellent business acumen
Proven track record of delivering improvements in the supply chain area
Your to be data savvy and have a flair for working with Excel/Google sheets
Are fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken)
