Your opportunity to join the adventure
In the CEO Office, you will join a team of 3 talented and welcoming colleagues.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Communications to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of a part-time position, with a commitment of 25 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years of experience as an executive advisor, specializing in communication strategies that align with business priorities. As an individual contributor with no dedicated communications team, this role requires a blend of strategic thinking and practical execution, with the ability to be both hands-on and self-motivated. Experience in international organizations - whether privately owned, publicly listed, or within PR agencies advising C-level executives and collaborating with key stakeholders - is desirable.

The role demands a proven ability to develop and implement long-term communication strategies that facilitate organizational change and support business goals. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing key messaging, presentations, speeches, press releases, and other communication materials for senior leaders and will oversee internal and external communication strategies to ensure they effectively reflect our business goals and sustain media relations.
Key responsibilities:

Strategic communication advisory: Provide expert communication advice to the CEO and executive leadership, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities and reinforcement of business goals
Strategy development & execution: Develop and implement long-term communication strategies to support business goals and drive organizational transformation. This includes crafting key messaging, social media content, presentations, speeches, press releases, and other communication materials for senior leaders to ensure clear and consistent communication
Internal & external communication: Design and implement internal communication strategies to enhance organisational engagement and foster a positive organizational culture. Build and maintain robust relationships with external stakeholders and navigate media engagements effectively
Crisis management: Develop and deliver timely communication strategies and responses during urgent or high-pressure scenarios

Professional experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in a senior communication role, ideally within international organizations or large PR agencies with direct contact with senior executives
Executive advisory: Proven history of providing strategic communication counsel to CEOs and senior leadership
Strategic and practical skills: Expertise in aligning both strategic and hands-on communication efforts with organizational objectives
Content creation: Extensive experience in developing key messaging, social media content, presentations, speeches, press releases, and other communication materials for senior leadership
Language skills: Proficiency in Danish and English both verbally and in writing, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all contexts
Stakeholder relations: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, with an understanding of broader business contexts
Personal attributes: Motivated, proactive, and strategic thinker with business understanding. Capable of addressing both opportunities and challenges with confidence
Flexibility: Ability to adapt and be available outside regular hours for crisis communication and issues management, with some travel to Maersk Tankers regions expected
