MDSI is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). We are seeking an experienced financial manager to join our leadership team either part time or full time as we can agree to. We are looking for a dynamic person with a background in financial management, with solid social skills, and experience in navigating the complexities of growing a business.

About the job

You will be a close and trusted partner to the CEO and handle the classical areas of responsibilities regarding Finance, Back Office, HR, import and export control

Your background and qualifications

You can either be “an old rat” with enough experience and bandwidth to handle the position on part time or you can be a young ambitious person climbing the latter and looking to challenge yourself and plan on a full-time job.
We value that you are service-minded, outgoing, proactive and have good communication skills. You manage to think "out of the box" and have an eye for (new) solutions when the solitaire is about to break up. You must think that it is fun to take part in further development and leave your mark on the function. You work in a structured way and maintain an overview and can maintain focus in a dynamic everyday life that cannot always be planned. At the same time, you have drive, stamina and ambitions for your own professional development and skills, and you are motivated by the fact that, with the right effort, you will have the opportunity to realize your ambitions in this job. And of course, you are a team player who always works to play yourself and your colleagues better.

You will be an obvious candidate if you have/are:

• A relevant academic degree (e.g. M.sc) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CFO or you are at this point in a senior financial leadership role aiming of becoming CFO in your next role, preferably you have experience within the manufacturing or technology sector and with some knowledge of financing capital goods (+0.5 MEUR).
• Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting and experience with digital transformation and ERP implementation and some knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the manufacturing industry.
• Fluent in English.
• Fluent in Danish is a plus.

About MDSI Ap S

MDSI was founded in 2017 by a group of people with a strong military background in airborne combat operations. MDSI develops and integrates Mission Systems and provides Mission Services. By integrating and networking ISR capabilities in large geographical areas with AI and operational expertise MDSI provides customized situational awareness support to both civilian and government operations.
We are currently a staff of 25 and expect to welcome around five new employees within the next six months.
