Senior BI Developer
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior BI Developer to enhance our DWH Analytics team. This role is crucial for integrating data into our Snowflake Data Warehouse, leveraging DBT for data transformation, and developing insightful Power BI reports. You will be a key player in maintaining and expanding our data warehouse and ensuring our data infrastructure supports advanced analytics and BI initiatives.

Job Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior BI Developer, you will:
- Data Integration and Management:
- Design and implement data integration processes through our internal Datahub to Snowflake DWH, ensuring seamless, efficient data flows.
- Utilize DBT for data transformation, ensuring data is modeled effectively for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Maintain the integrity and performance of the Snowflake DWH, implementing monitoring, quality checks, and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Data Modeling and Analytics:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytics needs, translating business requirements into technical solutions within the DWH.
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data models in Snowflake, optimizing data structures for BI reporting and analytics.
- BI Reporting and Visualization:
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to business users and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Work closely with business teams to refine BI requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in data technology, advocating for and implementing improvements to our data infrastructure and BI capabilities.
Qualifications
- Expertise in SQL and data integration practices.
- Expertise in using DBT for data transformations.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and data modeling techniques.
- Proficient in Power BI or similar BI tools, with strong skills in data visualization and report development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with good communication skills to effectively liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience with managing and modeling data in Snowflake is preferred.
