Sr. Dev Ops Engineer
Duties:

As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our customer-facing web applications.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure our systems scale effectively across diverse user personas and geographical locations.
Pioneer and implement modern cloud service developments for our team.

Skills:

8+ years of experience as a Dev Ops engineer, specializing in maintaining and troubleshooting production-level applications.
Proficiency in Bash and Python for scripting and automation.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms; GCP is preferred.
Deep knowledge of Terraform and other Hashi Corp tools.
Strong proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and Configuration Management; familiarity with Git Lab CI is preferred.
Strong skills in Linux server administration and application maintenance, including debugging techniques with statistical and metric data.
Security-focused mindset with expertise in cloud security technologies (e.g., Firewall, DDo S mitigation, Pen Testing, Authentication).
Experience with monitoring and metrics systems such as Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, Influx DB.
Proficiency in virtualized and containerized environments, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
Familiarity with databases like Postgre SQL, My SQL, Redis, Cassandra.
Background in fast-paced startup environments with a strong emphasis on scalability and reliability.
Experience working in agile development environments.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs is preferred.
Familiarity with automation testing tools and services (e.g., Puppeteer, Selenium, Cypress) is desirable.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices is desirable.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
