Wood is currently recruiting for a Global Talent Acquisition Lead in Bogota, Colombia. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our team during a rapid period of growth. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about building high-performing teams, and who will be responsible for overseeing a small core team of specialists and managing the daily workload to support business operations for the US and Canada.
The Talent Acquisition Lead ensures effective management of all assigned tasks within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and equitable distribution of workload among team members.
Provide encouragement to team members, communicate team goals, identify training needs, and facilitate skill development.
Guides team members in adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documents, maintaining process integrity, and delivering high-quality outputs.
Assists in Talent Acquisition processes and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Addresses team member queries, resolves issues and monitors work for quality and adherence to guidelines, and conducts regular team meetings to disseminate best practices, set expectations, and foster team collaboration.
Generates detailed reports on team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines to facilitate informed decision-making.
Ensures all information is handled confidentially and accurately, in compliance with organizational policies, processes, and legal requirements.
Acts as the secondary point of contact for escalated customer issues or priorities, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution.
Workload management and allocation:
Ensure that all assigned tasks are managed effectively within defined SLAs.
Equitably distributing workload among team members to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Team support and development:
Process adherence and quality assurance:
Guide team members in adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documents.
Maintain process integrity and ensure that the team delivers high-quality outputs consistently.
People management (attract, develop, engage, and retain)
Focal point for the Talent Acquisition process and onboarding of new team members.
Communicating team goals and objectives
Provide training and support to new hires to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Identify areas for training and skill development and facilitating necessary training sessions.
Conduct regular team meetings to update members on best practices and expectations
Problem resolution and quality oversight:
Address team member questions and concerns.
Resolve issues and conflicts within the team.
Monitor team performance and work quality to ensure compliance with guidelines and standards.
Reporting and performance evaluation:
Generate comprehensive reports on team performance, objectives, and deadlines.
Evaluate individual and team performance against established metrics and goals.
Ensure that all information is managed confidentially and accurately.
Adhere to organizational policies, processes, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Degree level qualification desirable but not essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Experience recruiting for global multinational companies
Prior experience of mentoring or coaching others in best practice approach and operational delivery
Strong presentation skills and proven ability to negotiate and influence leadership internally and externally
Experience delivering high-volume and complex recruitment campaigns
Experience presenting solutions to customers and working in partnership to deliver to agreed customer requirements
Experience working with Business Development (tenders and proposals) to enable forward planning and enhance delivery
