Job Summary
This position manages the relevant accounting processes for multiple entities to meet internal and external reporting needs, in accordance with Group Business Control framework, global processes and requirements.
The Accounting Manager is based at our Tetra Pak office in Bogota, Colombia.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As an Accounting Manager you will:
Responsible for ensuring compliance to local / statutory reporting
Supporting the Finance Operations Hub Director and Local Finance Director in ensuring delivery of efficient and effective services to the local site
Execute processes with the requisite controls
Adopt global process, best practices and related improvements
Execute continuous improvement/PSM methodologies and deliver improvements
Be responsible for the smooth performance of the relevant process
Identify and implement levels 5/6 process changes: implement global process changes.
Streamlining and harmonizing the local processes.
Building an efficient and professional local process team.
Manage, coach and mentor direct reports to improve performance
Drive the relevant process making sure on time delivery.
Participating in cross functional projects.
Handle escalation.
Provide Audit support for the local market for local, statutory and internal audits in coordination with Finance Department.
We believe you have
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any other degree related.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, and at least 3 years in similar role managing 5 or more people, with preferred experience in multinational companies or having in charge multiple locations inside the country.
Good business digital capabilities will be an advantage.
Good skills working with excel and SAP, Power BI will be a plus.
Fluent in English & Spanish.
Experience matching local with global objectives, supporting both structures, preferrable driving global projects.
