Who we're looking for
Viacore Prince George is looking for a Warehouse Helper to join its team. The ideal candidate is safety conscious, punctual, reliable, and can work well alone or in a team.
What you'll be doing:

• Operate the slitter, accurately handle and operate smaller power tools (i.e., drill, sander, etc.) and forklifts.
• Maintain accurate belt inventory through proper cut allocation and product placement throughout the warehouse.
• Always keep warehouse tidy
• Assist shipping/receiving department.
• Assist Belt/Field Technicians on job sites.
• Assist in fabricating large belts in the shop.
• Receive & tag incoming products accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ship outgoing products accordingly (ie. include MSDS, obtain freight quotes)
• Complete waybills and Work Orders accurately
• Purchase of all required shipping supplies
• Maintain goods received & store in yard.
• Maintain of shipping / receiving records
• Track orders
• Help maintain inventory levels on all stocked products in the warehouse.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge/Education & Experience:
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Clean Driver's Abstract

Skills & Abilities :

• Working knowledge of computer
• Data entry skills
• Mechanically inclined, hands-on
• Safety conscious
• Good communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Punctual, reliable, self-motivated
• Able to work well alone with other people.
• Positive attitude
