This will be a very diverse job in a fast-paced environment. Kanoe People is a small company, and flexibility in many fields is required. In this position, you will have to have great teamwork skills as well as individual decision-making skills. The main aspect of this job is guiding some canoeing day tours, meet & greet at the store, pick up and drop off customers on distant locations (sometimes a full day driving) with a trailer loaded with canoes.
Also, you will spend time at the store, doing retail, helping customers with sales, and doing bookings for short and long trips, answering the requests not just to customers in person, but also through phone and e-mail.
You have to be willing to do cleaning tasks at the store; to clean the canoes and the vehicles; and everything that will need your attention. Pro-activity is appreciated.
This position can be physically demanding. It involves loading canoes into vehicles and carrying gear all around.

Pay: $20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
