Apex Well Servicing is hiring a full-time position for an experienced TMX Gripper Operator. The successful candidate will have experience working in an exciting atmosphere, where you have the opportunity to grow successfully as an individual and part of our Apex Team. This position will be based Specifically Around Macklin area. Apex can facilitate accommodations and a flexible schedule for the successful candidate. We have a very successful TMX Operator client base with steady utilization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will vary depending on the position and unit; however, some of your responsibilities may include:
- Manage the daily operation of the TMX unit
- Ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently
- Organize the set-up and shut down of the TMX unit
- Ensure procedures and policies are adhered to in daily operations
- Prepare and submit required reports and necessary paperwork; establish operating procedures for equipment; implement preventative maintenance and organize servicing supplies and equipment
- Monitor the TMX unit and maintain equipment at optimal productivity and profitability
- Work with the oil company representative as necessary to maintain a level of excellence set forth by their company and Apex, including input towards the daily operations and procedures
- Adhere to environmental and safety legislation, policy and recommended practice
- Other duties as assigned
- 1-2 years’ experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry, has any TMX Experience
- TMX Operating handling experience is considered an asset
- Must Valid Class 1, or 3 driver’s licenses with experience operating a manual transmission
- Clean 5-year commercial driving abstract (Driving Record)
- Able to Pass negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Common Safety Orientation certification is required
- Having First Aid, H2S Alive
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
- Enjoy working outdoors even in harsh weather conditions
- Comfortable with the use of additional respiratory equipment and air supply; wearing a full-face mask and carrying your own source of oxygen
- You have the ability to work well in a team, share a laugh with your coworkers and get the job done safely
- Ability to work well individually, as part of a team, and under pressure, while balancing multiple demands
