Job Overview
We are seeking a Third Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their career in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to learn the necessary skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Learn to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues
- Handle and maintain tools and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations on job sites
-Help install Heat Pumps and Generators as well as perform maintenance when required. Previous experience will be considered an asset.
Requirements
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts
- Willingness to learn and build practical skills
-Must be able to drive a company supplied truck/van and trailer
-Must wear a company uniform as well as CSA steel toe footwear and other PPE required
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $22.00-$27.29 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
