Therapeutic Homes Clinical Coordinator

As a Clinical Coordinator for our Therapeutic homes, you are responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of Behaviour Support Plans as well as Safety Plans for clients residing within Hollyburn’s therapeutic homes. The Clinical Coordinator will work 40 hours per week, based on the needs of the clients and teams as determined by the Senior Clinical Manager. This is a one year term ending October 8, 2025
Qualifications:
  • Education: B.A. in a related field plus 3 years.
  • At least 1000 hour of direct experience providing ABA support to clients with autism.
  • Education and training in Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Education and training in Mental Health Disorders.
  • Education and understanding of Substance Abuse and Addictions
  • Education in Trauma Informed Practices
  • Experience and training in behaviour modification / management and intervention practices.
  • Experience and training with the ability to implement specific programs to address problematic or unwanted behaviours.
  • Experience and training in occupational therapy and sensory integration with the ability to apply approaches / equipment to implement client centered programming.
  • Experience and training in Sexual Health Education for children and youth with ability to apply approaches to implement client centered programming.
  • Conduct and analysis of assessments.
  • Ability to support staff to write and implement all client Behaviour Support Plans and Safety Plans.
  • Good understanding of data tracking and analysis.
  • Must own a vehicle, hold a valid B.C. Driver’s License and have business insurance with $3, 000, 000.00 liability.
  • Must complete an acceptable Criminal Record Search report.
  • Must hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Must hold a current NVCI certificate.
A sample of what you’ll be doing:
  • Provide clinical support to Supervisors and teams to maintain client files.
  • Work with teams to support client intake, transition and discharges from programs
  • Observation and assessment of clients:
    • Provide support to teams to develop appropriate Behaviour Support plans and review as required every six months
    • Write up and implement specific programs and protocols based on goals identified in the BSP.
    • Create visual communication supports to coincide with specific client programs
    • Train staff on specific client programs and how to use visual communication
    • Provide support to teams to develop Safety plans and continuously monitor and update based on critical incident reports and ABC charts
    • Review weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Support and train program teams when required in the following:
  • BSP
  • Safety Plans
  • Behaviour Modification and Management Techniques
  • Behaviour Intervention strategies
  • ABA Therapy and Data Collection (needs to be incorporated into the Monthly Report template)
  • Program creation and implementation / presentation
  • Attend IEPs, ICMs, Transition Planning meetings, Psychiatric and other client specific meetings as required.
  • Attend program team meetings, events and functions.
  • Consult with Senior Clinical Manager and Clinical Management Team on a regular basis to provide updates on clients, program outcomes and highlight identified gaps in training and client service.
  • Participate in weekly Clinical Team meetings.
Salary: $25.00-$28.00/hr plus benefits
