Telecommunications Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Residential Telecommunication Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunication systems in residential settings. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive high-quality service and support, leaving them satisfied and connected.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Residential Telecommunication Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunication systems in residential settings. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive high-quality service and support, leaving them satisfied and connected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Setup: Perform residential installations of telecommunication equipment, including internet, cable, and phone services.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, explaining services, resolving issues, and providing clear instructions on equipment use.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to telecommunication systems, ensuring minimal disruption to the customer’s service.
- Structured Cabling: Installing, testing and replacing cabling to customers homes, and equipment inside their home.
- Documentation: Accurately complete service reports, installation records, and other necessary paperwork.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations while performing your duties.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in telecommunication installations or a related field.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry a 28’ extension ladder, work at heights, work in various weather conditions, and navigate tight spaces.
- Certification: Relevant certifications or licenses in telecommunication technology (preferred but not required).
