VV Aquatics (VVA) is hiring a Swim Coach/Instructor who is highly skilled, motivated, and an enthusiastic team member. Candidates must be experienced in a private lesson setting with strong attention-to-detail with skill-based lesson format. starting pay: $20/hour.
Candidates must have the their Life Saving Society (LSI) Swim Instructor Certification; Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Check); Child Abuse Register Check.
Pay: $20/$25/hour.
VV Aquatics (VVA) offers Premium Life Saving Society Certified Private Swimming Lessons in Bedford - Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer Summer outdoor intensives and Indoor evenings throughout the year.
Our VVA programming focuses on development of fundamental swim stroke mechanics and skills that is customized to each learning type. VVA lessons focus on building a genuine love and respect for the water while overcoming any fears associate.
Skills:
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with swimmers and their parents/guardians
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching others how to swim
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required)

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 per week
