The Position
In the capacity as Student Transportation Assistant, the successful candidate must be a self-directed team player who is interested in providing support and encouragement to a student with a diversity of learning needs.
Support is required on a casual basis (when required) between the Busby area and Westlock area in the morning and the afternoon. Pick up and drop off details and hours/day will be discussed in the interview. Duties are to commence as soon as possible and will end June 27, 2025.
Qualifications:
Experience working with complex needs and behaviorally challenged students would be an asset
Experience working with ECS students would be an asset
Preference will be given to applicants with an understanding of childhood development
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
Able to work as a member of the school team
Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
SIVA Training would be an asset
First aid would be an asset
