Job Summary Do you have snowmaking experience? Are you looking to step into a leadership position? We are looking to hire a Snowmaking Lead Hand for our Slopes department for the upcoming winter season. Physical Requirement: Heavy, work activities involve handling loads more than 20 kg; Predominately in an outdoor setting. This job position requires physical presence at the designated location. Accountabilities:
Ensure all PMR policies are adhered to as outlined in the current Employee handbook, as well as all applicable Work Safe regulations & any other applicable industry regulations
Lead, designate and make decisions in all types of situations
Supervision and motivation of staff
Understand and work towards departments and the company’s goals and objectives
Observe and adhere to all company safety, operating and maintenance Guidelines
Follow the instruction, paying close attention to detail
Perform pre-startup inspections, walk-around checks and maintain all machinery and equipment
Maintain a high standard of quality in communication, respect for equipment, co-workers, and quality of the product

Adhere to mountain operating procedures
Ideal Candidate:
2 or more seasons of snowmaking experience
Proven problem-solving skills
Able to work both alone and as part of a team
Able to run a snowmobile with confidence
Able to work in all weather conditions
Able to work shifts and odd hours with some overtime when required
Be dependable, timely and cooperative
Valid driver’s license
