Job Summary
Do you have snowmaking experience? Are you looking to step into a leadership position? We are looking to hire a Snowmaking Lead Hand for our Slopes department for the upcoming winter season. Physical Requirement:
Heavy, work activities involve handling loads more than 20 kg; Predominately in an outdoor setting.
This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.
Accountabilities:

• Ensure all PMR policies are adhered to as outlined in the current Employee handbook, as well as all applicable Work Safe regulations & any other applicable industry regulations
• Lead, designate and make decisions in all types of situations
• Supervision and motivation of staff
• Understand and work towards departments and the company’s goals and objectives
• Observe and adhere to all company safety, operating and maintenance Guidelines
• Follow the instruction, paying close attention to detail
• Perform pre-startup inspections, walk-around checks and maintain all machinery and equipment
• Maintain a high standard of quality in communication, respect for equipment, co-workers, and quality of the product

• Adhere to mountain operating procedures

Ideal Candidate:

• 2 or more seasons of snowmaking experience
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Able to work both alone and as part of a team
• Able to run a snowmobile with confidence
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work shifts and odd hours with some overtime when required
• Be dependable, timely and cooperative
• Valid driver’s license
