REGIONAL RECYCLING ABBOTSFORD is looking for a results-driven Skid-Steer Operator who is a self-starter, and always looking for improvement opportunities, and can adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR..

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed.
• A problem solver and someone who shows initiative.
• High commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
• Previous work experience in a warehouse is a bonus.
• Previous experience operating forklift and a Skid-Steer with Joystick controls is required.

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO…
Reporting directly to managers, employees will work in a team to perform various tasks;

• Ability to operate various equipment such as Skid-steer, Forklift, etc.
• Transport various materials and load/unload material safely using a skid steer.
• Operate and control equipment safely in varying ground conditions.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• Comply with safe working procedures and practices.
• Willing and able to assist ground crew when equipment/machine, is not in use.
• Clean up throughout the yard to maintain production and cleanliness of the facility and a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
• Other tasks as assigned by the managers or supervisors.

As skills develop, further training for additional tasks will be provided to employees.
