Job Title: Shop Labourer
B. Job Summary
Complete required tasks such as repair and maintenance to hydraulic components and equipment while continuing personal growth and development within the fluid power industry.
C. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
* Including but not limited to.
· Repair components/equipment under various complexities following all repair procedures.
· Maintain area cleanliness on a regular basis.
· Load and unload incoming and outgoing service work.
· Gain mechanical understanding through co-workers and various work experiences.
· Perform routine maintenance procedures on equipment.
· Complete pre and post inspection clean-up of work orders and projects.
· Pick-up and deliveries of parts and components.
· Operate and maintain equipment within area following all asset maintenance procedures.
· Communicate progress and job updates with supervisors.
D. Education and Experience
* A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
· 2 years experience of Mechanical Experience
E. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
· Exceptional organizational skills demonstrating a capacity to prioritize and multitask.
· Must possess critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to operate various measurement devices.
· Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
· Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team without micromanagement.
· Appreciate and align yourself with our company values vision and mission while helping others to do the same.
· Willingness to put in extra hours to complete tasks.
F. Certificate, Licenses, and/or Registrations
· Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 per year
