Shipping/Receiving Representative
Machinery Supply was acquired by Power Equipment Company in 2020. We are an industry leader in the Heavy equipment and aggregate industries, and we are looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our Team. In this role you will coordinate the transfer, loading, un-loading and disbursement of customer equipment and parts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, have a commitment to Safety and desire to provide first class customer service.

Essential Job Functions:
Shipping / Receiving Responsibilities include:
· Communicates customer dissatisfaction to management and helps to champion resolution.
· Strives to deliver the best customer support experience possible to all Machinery Supply customers.
· Has regular warehouse tasks shipping, receiving and inventory management.
· Supports shipping / receiving process and procedures for documentation and billing.
· Loading & Unloading shipments
· Operation of Forklift / Pallet Jacks
· Pre operational inspection on forklifts
· Supports and Maintains cleanliness in yard and warehouse.
· Ensures a safe work environment and promotes a culture of safety.
· Examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against bill of lading, invoices, and other records.
· Route incoming shipments/goods to respective departments
· Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order.
· Reads work order or follows oral instructions
· Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or forklift
· Prepares products for shipment
· Prepares identifying information/ shipping instructions on containers
· Pulls stock orders
Job Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 / 80 pounds.
Work Environment:
Noise level is usually low to moderate. Must work outside and be subject to adverse weather conditions and walk in uneven terrain.
Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check, including MVR, and pre-employment physical.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Two years related experience working with forklift
- Must be able to pass a post job offer drug screen & physical
- proficient utilizing computers including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft teams and general laptop or desktop computer use.
