Facilitator Positions 2024-2025
The Kentville Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to providing top-quality recreational
programs and services to Kentville and surrounding communities. We are seeking adventurous,
enthusiastic individuals for the role of Program Facilitator, focusing on structured and unstructured
recreational activities for individuals with neurodiversities. If you are energetic, self-motivated, and
enjoy working as part of a team, we want you on our SHIFT Partnership team!

Your Opportunity
The Town of Kentville Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking candidates to fill the following
roles:
Program Facilitator (4 positions)
As a Program Facilitator, you will lead various recreational activities for individuals with
neurodiversities, such as Boccia Try It Sessions, Challenger Baseball Sessions, and Play in the Park
Activities. You will collaborate with partner organizations, including Flower Cart Opportunities,
CAPRE, Horton High School Learning Centre, Shannex Orchard Court Home, Include Me!, L'Arche
Homefire, and the Annapolis Valley Chapter of Autism Nova Scotia.
