Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and experienced School Bus Drivers to join our team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely manner. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus and transport passengers to their designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a positive experience
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bus
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Follow established routes and schedules
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (class 2 or 4, training provided)
- Clean driving record with no history of accidents or violations
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Clean Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check
- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with passengers
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
