Sawmill Operator
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machines, hand tools, calipers, power tools, and be familiar with Auto CAD. If you have a background in machining, carpentry, or fabrication, this position may be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various types of machinery and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to build and fabricate components
- Perform quality checks using calipers and other measuring instruments
- Follow blueprints or schematics to complete tasks
- Utilize forklifts for material handling when necessary
Qualifications
- Experience with CNC machines and machining processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and calipers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Familiarity with Auto CAD is a plus
- Previous experience in carpentry or fabrication is advantageous
