Onward Hardware (division of Richelieu Hardware) is currently seeking a Sales Representative for British columbia under the supervision of the National Sales Manager, and the Ontario Onward Sales Manager, the representative will ensure the development of new customers and the retention of existing customers.
The key responsibilities of a Outside Sales Representative are to:
- Promote sales to industrial customers under the following market segments: doors& windows manufactures, trim & doors shops (prehangers), prefab home manufactures, shed manufacturers and distributors (contractor supply, property management, industrial etc)
- Be responsible for any existing sales and focus on new business development
- Manage territory to achieve maximum productivity, while being conscious of costs
- The territory will encompass the designated provinces
- Sales of Task Tools to Industrial customers including distribution.
Requirements / Qualifications / Skills
- College Degree in Marketing or a related field, combined with relevant experience. University degree would be an asset
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in sales to Industrial Market and our target markets to be an asset
- General knowledge of the hardware industry and experience with product line
- Experience in business development with strong skills to canvass new opportunities
- The individual shall possess strong personal and organizational skills
- Must be highly motivated and can work independently
- The individual should also have strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (specific to Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word)
