Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all shoppers
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Meet sales goals and targets set by management
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives
Skills:
- Strong cashiering skills, including handling cash, credit cards, and electronic payments
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales is required, and experience in outdoor or sporting-goods shops is favoured.
- Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and change
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven ability to sell products and upsell to customers
