Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Typist to join our team. As a Typist, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient typing services, ensuring the timely completion of documents and tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Perform data entry tasks, including typing, proofreading, and editing documents
- Prepare and format documents such as reports, memos, and correspondence
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Answer phone calls and provide customer support
- Utilize computerized systems and software to complete tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typist or similar role
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread documents for errors
- Familiarity with data entry processes and procedures
- Ability to handle phone systems and provide excellent phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
