Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the Reaching Home Project Officer to meet program requirements for Reaching Home’s Indigenous funding stream as directed by Infrastructure Canada.
· Assist with preparing all required reporting and related documentation, including quarterly sub-project financial and activity reporting, annual online reporting, and government financial monitors including audits.
· Review project financial claims and ensure adherence to the approved project agreements.
· Assist with the preparation of quarterly financial reports, ensuring they align with monthly documentation and expenditures.
· Liaise with sub-project groups, including communicating reporting requirements.
· Maintain detailed electronic and paper records of financials, reporting, contracts, and other documents.
· Assist with the coordination of Regional Advisory Board (RAB) and its sub-committee meetings, including preparing discussion topics, taking meeting minutes, and updating Terms of Reference.
· Transferring data from paper formats into database system.
· Enter data provided directly from clients into database system.
· Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
· Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
· Post-secondary graduate with a minimum of two years of experience in business administration, community studies, Indigenous studies, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
· Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with knowledge of Indigenous community, an interest in advocating for Indigenous perspectives, and experience in administrative work.
· Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel.
· Knowledge of bookkeeping.
· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be able to work as a team or independently.
· Basic understanding of databases.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Must provide a clear code of conduct from the RCMP.
Assets:
· Knowledge of Labrador Indigenous cultures.
· Knowledge of an Indigenous language.
· Knowledge of or experience working with Indigenous organizations.
· Knowledge of or experience working with homelessness.
· Indigenous or of Indigenous ancestry.
· Demonstrated project or program administration experience.
· Experience working with database systems.
· Ability to speak a Labrador Indigenous language.
Salary: $25.00 per hour plus benefits

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
