Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services essential to our operations. Aerospace industry experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the procurement of materials and services by reviewing and processing purchase orders.
Coordinate with suppliers to track and expedite deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and invoices.
Support the purchasing team in identifying and evaluating vendors.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role.
Education: Office administration or related qualification preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems is preferred.
