Job Description Charter Mechanical is looking for a full time Plumbing Apprentice to join our energetic team. Charter Mechanical is a dynamic, growing company and this position will work in many aspects of the construction Industry. This successful applicant will learn in the construction and/or assembly of plumbing systems and equipment installation, reading and interpreting of drawings to be followed in the construction of Plumbing systems and equipment. Measure and cut piping for plumbing systems
Trenching and digging for underground systems
install hangers for support for piping systems
Organize tools and materials as needed
Assists the Journeyman Plumber on all tasks related to the trade
Keep their working area clean and tidy, cleans the job site as necessary
Listening and following instructions
Skills and Qualifications
Must possess strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and work ethic
The ability to work without supervision, detailed oriented
Willingness to observe safety precautions and safety protocols
Valid Drivers License and must be insurable
Highly motivated and the willingness to perform work that you are proud to put your name to and in a timely manner
Plumbing experience would be an asset - but not a must
Education
Secondary School (Preferred)
