Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, be able to read and interpret schematics, and demonstrate proficiency with hand tools and power tools. This role involves working on various plumbing projects, both residential and commercial, ensuring that all installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Assemble and build plumbing systems using appropriate materials and techniques.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates.
• Experience with commercial driving is a plus for transporting materials to job sites.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.

Pay: From $24.65 per hour
Expected hours: 80 per week
