As a part of our Care Team, you will be trained to perform the following duties;

• Support residents to “live well” by facilitating their personal/self-care and activities of daily living requirements, needs, and preferences.
• Provides assistance to residents according to the established resident care plans and routines related to showering/bathing, skin care (shaving), mouth/denture care, hair care, dressing, etc.
• Meal preparation, cooking, and serving food and drinks and promote good hydration throughout the day.
• To assist with medication administration to residents and to maintain accurate administration records.
• Assist residents by promoting and encouraging independence, personal interest, hobbies, and skills.
• To undertake daily housekeeping duties by maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents in both common areas and resident suites.

Meal preparation experience is considered an asset.
Must have a satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
CCA/PSW or candidates who have combination of experience and course completion are welcome to apply.
Experience working in a Long Term Care Home or Home Care setting an asset
